There are at least two excellent reasons to rent a pitch at Le Camping de la Laune: its charm and proximity to the Grand Prix Automobile de Monaco, which was held only a few kilometres from our campsite.

Le Camping de la Laune: charm and tranquillity, for a perfect stay

All those who have already stayed at Le Camping de la Laune know this: you come here for the absolutely exceptional climate that prevails almost all year round throughout this region. Right at the gates of Nice and Monaco, our campsite enjoys an excellent geographical location, and no doubt this is partly why so many people come to visit us every year: we are located at the foot of the hilltop village of Peillon, which offers you spectacular views at any time.

Moreover, we have carefully designed our campsite to offer you all the necessary amenities: come with your tent, camper-van or caravan, and enjoy your well-deserved holidays on one of our shady pitches: peace and quiet will be on the menu, if that’s what you desire, at any time of the day.

Of course, since your comfort is our priority, all our pitches are equipped with Wi-Fi coverage which you can use to share your photos or videos of the day (we are sure that many of you will go to the Monaco Grand Prix, and that you will, therefore, want to make your colleagues, families or friends green with envy).

And if you ever want to escape the Grand Prix crowd, you can still watch the race from your pitch, with a cocktail in your hand, with your cap on, in the shade: our campsite has television receivers available for this purpose.

More about the Grand Prix Automobile de Monaco 2018:

This year, the Monaco Grand Prix 2018 was held for the 76th time.

As you must know, it is an extremely popular race, since it is considered one of the three most prestigious Formula 1 prizes in the world. Held on 27 May 2018, at this edition of the Monaco Grand Prix, which, remember, was held about 30 minutes from our campsite in La Laune, the Grand Champion Prize was awarded to Daniel Ricciardo, for whom it was his first victory in the principality. However, this did not prevent him from beating the Monegasque track record, held up to now by Kimi Räikkönen, three times this year.

On the podium, Daniel Ricciardo was closely followed by Sebastien Vettel (2nd) and Lewis Hamilton (3rd).

To illustrate how old and thus legendary this Grand Prix is, its first edition took place on the same circuit built by Anthony Noghès in 1929!

So if the charm, the tranquillity, the ideal climate, the proximity of the principality and the magnificent view from our campsite are not yet sufficient reasons to convince you to come and spend a holiday on one of our very affordable pitches, think of the Monaco Grand Prix!
