Without any claims, without any strong ideological commitment, we, simple human beings and campsite owners, do our best to adjust our actions in favour of sustainable development and ecology in the permanent concern of preserving and respecting our beautiful Planet. Here is a small, non-exhaustive list of what we do, day after day, to achieve this:

WATER MANAGEMENT :

  • The campsite’s main water supply (for the sanitary facilities and watering in particular) is drawn from a borehole from a natural spring. This water is controlled and Diltered, thus limiting the use of city water.
  • A drinking water point is of course also available for Dilling bottles and quenching thirsts, and here the use of prestos limits its waste.
  • Timers are installed in the sanitary facilities. – We water some of the green areas with drip irrigation.
  • Recovery of rainwater for watering.
  • Our toilet Dlushes have a double Dlow rate.
  • Water saving awareness signs are displayed in the campsite and in the rental accommodation.

ELECTRICITY MANAGEMENT :

• The campsite is fully equipped with low-energy LED bulbs.
• Presence detectors have been installed to limit unnecessary electricity consumption.
• Day/night programmers for public lighting.
• New electrical equipment (refrigerators, microwaves, etc.) in the accommodation and communal areas are automatically purchased in the economic category A+ or A++.
• We encourage our guests to turn off the heating and lights in the accommodation when it is unoccupied or with the windows open.
• Switching off electrical appliances when not in use.

PRESERVATION OF BIO-DIVERSITY :

  • Our rental accommodation is made of wood (chalets) with a longer life span than mobile homes.
  • We promote leisure activities directly related to nature (walking, cycling and mountain biking).
  • We favour the use of natural organic materials (paper, household products, paints…).
  • No chemical treatment of our plants and Dlowers and use of natural fertilizers (coffee grounds…).

SELECTIVE SORTING :

We strongly encourage all our guests to do so.
Sorting containers are available at the exit of the campsite.
It is also very important for us to do this and to bring all bulky items to the waste disposal centre.

AND ALL THE LITTLE THINGS WE DO IN OUR DAILY LIVES :

  • Use of used paper as draft paper
  • Limiting the printing of emails and other documents
  • We favour e-mail exchanges over postal mailings.
