Visit the surrounding area
After a good night’s sleep in your tent, caravan or camper van, or in one of our rental chalets, you will be able to visit the surrounding area. And why not leave your car where it is and make your escape from Peillon railway station, which is just 15 minutes walk from our campsite? In less than twenty minutes, you will be in the heart of Nice. It will be a truly relaxing holiday, away from traffic jams and all the hassles of traffic and parking.
Discover Nice by bicycle
If you wish to visit Nice, we recommend that you rent one of the 1750 « Blue Bikes » made available by the city of Nice, which is known as the « Ville Vélotouristique » or Tourist Bike City. When you arrive, you will quickly find a rental station among the 175 available in Nice.
With the development of 125 km of cycle roads in the area and thousands of parking spaces for two-wheelers all along your route, you will be able to enjoy the charms of the Côte d’Azur to the full. Potter along the edge of the Baie des Anges, or visit the historic centre along bike lanes or paths with virtually no variation in altitude. You will have all the time in the world to admire the sublime landscapes and the architectural heritage as you skirt the coast. Then you can rest and enjoy some refreshment, before setting off again to conquer Nice or to return to Le Camping de la Laune.
Keep an eye open for the badge fixed in the shop windows, and you will quickly recognise those shopkeepers who have signed the « Charte Accueil Alpes-Maritimes à Vélo » which commits them to offering a welcome and services adapted to tourists on bicycles.
Explore the Côte d’Azur during a camping trip
You can also enjoy these beautiful cycle paths by the sea with your own bikes if you wish to bring them on holiday with you to the campsite. That way you can take your bicycle on the train from Peillon station and reach Nice in a few minutes.
